Who we are
Hofmann is a leading international manufacturer of runway and airfield line marking machines. Since our foundation in Germany more than 60 years ago, our main goals have always been maximum reliability, durability and safety of all our products. 

What we do
Our product range encompasses everything that is necessary for runway marking: From small, hand-controlled and self-propelled machines to runway line marking trucks for heavy-duty usage. We do not only provide airfield marking machines, but also maintenance and technical knowledge.

Together with our customers we are developing custom­ised airport marking machines matching local, climatic as well as technical require­ments.

Annually we organize our well-known Hofmann Expo, where world-class line marking specialists exchange knowledge and field insights.

Fields of operation
Line marking systems by Hofmann are being deployed in different fields. Not only typical runway marking is covered, but also airport maintenance, construction marking and parking lot marking. Various application systems are available for paints, sprayable and extrudable 2-component cold plastics, as well as for sprayable and extrudable thermoplastic ma­terials. Depending on the type of marking material, they are also available for low-pressure (atomis­ing air method/Airspray) or Airless high-pressure marking.

Benefits are experienced in:

• MultiDotLine®-/ MultiDot­Line®Plus Extruder for defined agglomerate-, profiled and plain markings
• Spotflex®-system for defined agglomerate, profiled and structure markings
• Metering pumps designed to operate path-dependently (CONEX®), thus maintaining the set volume of material per metre line length irrespective of any changes in travel speed (AMAKOS®)
